Its time for another pheasant hunt!

Today I'm sharing a fun little trip I did a couple of weeks ago to southern Iowa. A buddy of mine that I had met on a christian retreat gave me a ring and said "I got bird man!" Thats all I needed to hear so I packed up some Federal Prairie Storm and my 20 gauges - The Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon and the Browning Citori Hunter and I was off!
It was a great time to get Jetta back out in the field, and Ayla (my new pup) some more experience with pheasants. The fellas I was with also had some German shorthairs out. I was out for 2 days - for the first day I took out the Beretta Silver Pigeon for a test drive. I DID NOT MISS!!! Well... maybe only a couple... anyways - this gun have me no trouble. After seeing all the suggestions for over under content, I've really gotten into them. For day 2 I took out the Browning Citori Hunter and had a blast with that as well! Those reviews will be coming out soon!
Overall, it was a very successful trip and I cant wait for the Minnesota weather to calm down so I can get out for some more hunting!
